Welcome Aboard Nino! Since you indicated you "come from London" - I have to assume you are no longer living in London. So, You might consider changing your location from London to your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help etc.)...

Welcome from across the Pond. Hope to see pictures of you exploits there. I would love to just get the chance to spend a week there. Your tales will be a decent substitute. Look forward to them.

I'm a 70 year old grandmother of 3 and have been hunting anything since I found my first arrowhead in Flatonia when I was 8 years old. My 40 year old son loves the hunt, too--so I have someone to be my buddy when we hunt. I have a good metal dectector and a pin pointer, but have not used it this year. My husband and I have 50 acres in Schulenburg, Tx that has a house that had a basement and it's caved in. When my father-in-law bought the property, he said that house was in the same condition, but he filled it up with brush, etc, so the cows would not fall in. In 1963 the hand dug water well and windmill were still working, but he filled that in too. We go up there every once in a while, but I think I will concentrate on that area. If that house was in that bad of shape in 1936, there's no telling how old it is. So there has got to be jars of money buried somewhere, right? It's pretty cold now in Texas, but our weather changes in a minute, so as soon as it gets decent--I'll try to get someone to go up there with me. Between the snakes and my husband's friendly cows--it's better to have 2 people up there. It's on top of the 50 acres, and you can't hear I-10 or any traffic. Wonderful place! By the way, I don't know what the house was built of (probably wood), but the basement is all bricks and there are bricks lining some type of sidewalk.

Welcome from North Central Illinois, Bobbie and Ninno. 🙋 🙋
