Hey guys!

Just started dirt fishing about a week ago. I have a Garrett Ace 350 and a Garrett Propointer AT. So far I have only found a couple pennies, nickels, dimes, etc. all clad. I have also found lots of pull tabs and one Roosevelt 1962 dime and one wheat penny. It's hard getting a handle on this hobby but it's loads of fun!

Hey, I'm a beginner from Utah, too. I have a bounty hunter sharp shooter 2 but I'm actually returning it because I just ordered an Ace 250 and Garrett Pro pointer 2 to replace it. The bounty hunter worked ok but it was difficult to calm it down, I could never turn sensitivity up more than 15%. Anyway, I hope you like the Garrett gear because thats what I'll be using soon. I'm hoping to also find people to go hunt with. I don't personally know anyone interested in the hobby.

Hey Hunter and dlhanse, I just ordered an Ace 250 and a pro pointer as well. Might be here tomorrow. Definitely going out to try this hunting relics thing everyone is talking about this weekend. We need to start a Garrett Ace in Utah club
I'm getting this for the wife but just found a Bounty Hunter Platinum on KSL this evening. I guess that will be the odd ball.
Are there any clubs here in northern utah... like support groups. This stuff is addicting, and I haven't even gotten started.
