Thanks, I hunt around portage/summit/Cuyahoga mostly. the Spanish coin was really something, I didn't even know what it was when I found it, it really made me stick to the hobby. but lately I have been all about the bottles, happy hunting!Xtonedigger, that's a great collection! I like the way you've displayed things on those shelves.
I grew up in Erie County (town of North East), so not too far away from you. It's nice to know that your area of the country has those sorts of treasures (the Spanish coin from 1793 is awesome!). Makes me want to grab my detectors and head home (but none of my family members still in the area have historic properties).
Keep searching and sharing!

I think it has to be the Spanish coin, ill never forget that moment. The most expensive though is the gold ring 14k 8.2 grams. I wish I knew more about the cabinet, It was given to me by a neighbor. Has skeleton key lock, gonna have to get that appraised one day as I think its antique....that is a really nice display cabinet full of good stuff. I’m having a hard time picking out a favorite, what piece is yours?
.. Me too. I look for in everybody’s finds and arrowheads..Nice finds! Congratulations! Great display! My favorite is the bullet plugged Mercury dime!

No way, if only there was a bottle detector out there haha. I have yet to find a squat soda, thats the only bottle i have ever purchased. I included my collection below just for funI love the display! And I love that blue bottle! LOL, coming from a metal detectorist is that weird?
I hope not! That one was found fairly deep in the woods, cleveland park system. The bigger one is a 1930s Green river whisky tokenI like ALL of your display including the case and notice 2 coins that were bullet plugged, the one looked to maybe have been in someones pocket with another coin Over it when the other coin was hit bending it and imprinting the edge?
Thank you for sharing.
