"Hey Look at me Ma, I'm dowsing"
To Hotrod and all other wildly speculating would be dowsers, who stand there watching their dowsing rod wobbling inwards and claim they are dowsing.
It is unfortunate that Dell has tainted many of you would be dowsers with a load of crap about mythical physical dowsing.
He probably sold many of his physical dowsing machines with his physical dowsing "sales oriented" brainwave. So now anyone who can wobble a dowsing rod can now claim to the world he is physically dowsing.

Re-read, you will realize it is a silly season with a lot of garbage being posted at this time.
Unless you go out doors with your dowsing rod whenever there is an overhead moon for month in, and month out for years, waiting for the geomagnetic flux from solar flares reflected off the moon occasionally powering your dowsing rod, you will have no idea what you are talking about. Going outdoors is sufficient when you are ?powered up? as you can dowse from home.
This rubbish about every one being different is true, but not when basic laws of nature are concerned. The formula for dowsing is as unalterable as gravity. If several highly vocal proponents of ?Physical? every day dowsing on this forum were actually dowsing, they would be busy describing what they were spying underground or digging, not following Dells tired old sales pitch.
For the past few nights since the last full moon I have had a ball with dowsing, admittedly at half strength, but still positive and I learnt a lot re my present dig. Yes, I am still digging at 76 but paying for labor.
Did you know that anywhere you have been in your lifetime you can recall on your outside lawn and dowse downwards checking it our every bit as accurately as if you were physically there? Essentially you must be standing fully under a moon with no trees, shadows or anything that will impede direct full line of sight with geomagnetic flux bathing your body, when it is available. ( from quarter moon upwards) Beats the hell out of high gas prices and traveling time. Just mentally picture you are standing over the site you wish to dowse, and the results are identical to physically being there. You can even pace out and measure, also as accurately as if you were there.
Dowsing indoors only with an iron roof.
Tiles fully impede geomagnetic power, being an insulator and you are wasting your time.
Anyone map or picture dowsing indoors with a pendulum under a tiled roof is wasting their time unless they have moonlight streaming onto them from a large north facing window.
Come back in 10 years at least of correct dowsing practice and you will have a different tune. When I get a direct mental connection with an underground target, at my age it beats sex.
