Atlantic City Residents Ready For Winter Storm « CBS Philly

Last night's forecast had jersey in more for a Northwester than a Noreaster. The updated forecast today gives higher prob to a pretty good Noreaster, followed by the previously forecast blast of Northwest winds.

Saw om the News that they had bulldozers pushing up sands into big sand piles on the beach getting ready for the storm. Just wondering how deep they are going with the bulldozers to mound up all those huge sand piles!!!!! Time to go beeping and haul out some treasure!!!!

Brigantine is doing beach replenishment. Those bulldozers were shown last night on at least one Philly TV station. Their activity is unrelated to the storm.

Considering how much sand has piled up on the beach since Sandy, those dozers would have to go pretty deep to make it worth while. Hopefully this storm mixes things up and brings some targets within reach.

As usual the media is hyping up another normal storm. It's February in the NE and it's supposed to snow like crazy once in a while. Just gonna put some nice logs on the fire and relax until it's over.
