Not much to go on as to for size reference, length/width/thickness, also a better photo would help.

Non magnetic and very light. Very brittle and weighs around 4-5oz.

To me it looks like melted glass in my opinion.

Where did you find it?

It also looks like old tree resin. Is it translucent when you put it up to a light source.

Here is an example :

The above example is Amber from Russia

Here's what the OP wrote in his post:"Was found in the sea in the Isle of Wight United Kingdom."

Thanx I don’t know why I did not see that.

If that is the case then it’s not sea glass it’s too shinny. It’s brittle

Knowing to see if it’s transluscen would help.

Also how much does it weigh?
If you try to burn one end does it burn, melt or nothing happens
If so does burn or melt does the smoke have a smell?

Just trying to help.

Cheers :occasion14:

Yeah it looks like amber.
Is it translucent?

Hard to say for sure. Could indeed be a piece of old tree resin if translucent. Looks a bit like a piece of coal from the pic. If there are tiny pieces falling off I would try to burn one of them to be sure.
