We've been metal detecting for over 30 years mostly in CA. Now in Oregon its more difficult with so much iron in the ground to cancel out. Regardless, I'm considering taking the detector to Massachusetts, Boston area beaches & bays. Who do I contact to get rules and regulations for digging in my old stomping grounds in MA?

Got the state government web site like Massachusetts.gov and look in their DNR rules and regulations, you will be able to find rules of any state in this section for each state you look up
