Hi! I just joined today. I'm in Kansas.

Hi everyone. I'm new here and new to treasure hunting. More accurately, I am about to BEGIN prospecting. I'm educating myself through books, videos, and online research and gearing up for my first venture into gold mining. I wish I had reached out to groups and people with experience from the beginning. As the departure date for my first trip out gets nearer the more nervous I get. I am all in and committed and looking forward with excitement but it's a BIG jump for me. And I get the nagging feeling I forgot my parachute! I look forward to learning from all of you here. I have about 5 days to pick your brains clean of all you know!
