Hi everyone
I've been on and off MD for a couple of years. I just purshased a DFX recently, so I guess I'm back on again. I'm a retired Navy guy. I noticed a lot of Navy personnel here, which is cool. Here's a pic of myself on a ship. Though I retired, I still work as a Navy Instructor, and love working with sailors.

Here's a recent pic of 'out to sea';

Hi Don and welcome back to this great hobby. I see you're in Brick Township. I'm right up the parkway from ya at exit 117.

I also own a home in Aberdeen, right on Lloyd Road.

I'm there most often. A beach trip? :D :D

Beach trip sounds good. I'm not much of a beach hunter but you have to dig somewhere when the grounds frozen. I live on the Hazlet - Union Beach border. I sometimes hit up Keansburg beach or the beach right by me in Union Beach.

Yep, a lot of Navy folks on here, including myself. I served on the Connie for over 3 years back in the 60's. Lots of proud memories. Welcome and good luck on your finds. Lots of historical stuff gets found by these people on here from the East coast. I'm on the West coast so not much stuff found around here from the 1700's. Got a shot at gold though ;)

Hiya Don,

Welcome to TN, great pics of you. Glad to see you back MDing again. Looking forward to posts/pics of your finds.

;) RR
