What a cool site! I was just poking around trying to find images of various rocks I would like to identify, and found this site. Way cool! I listed a metal detector in my profile...but haven't used it. It might be because Amazon hasn't delivered it yet LOL! I just moved to NC from CA...and thought I found gold but an assayer said it was pyrite. Lots and lots of pyrite hahaha. But now I totally want to chat with others about what is on/in the ground because I'm hooked on rocks/minerals/crystals and the thought of finding something really awesome so...I joined.
