Highbanker drylander/dredge Setup

Ive got a 10" highbanker I want to do a dredge conversion on. Im wondering if a 10" is big enough to handle a 3" drylander nozzle or should I stick with a 2 1/2" Obviously if I can get away with a 3" I would rather go that route.

WELCOME TO THE SITE FOR YOUR FIRST POST ! In my opinion the 10 inch sluice would be to small ESSPECCIALY if you would hog the material with that nozzle . If it were me , I'd go with a 14 inch wide sluice and the 3 inch nozzle .
