Hay Spawn 00x , I’ve been down this road before , to start your going to lose about ½ gal of water per 5 gal. of dirt , maybe as little as 1/4 gal. if your run is sandy , this is a S.W.A.G. . I did the math and your 1200 G.P.H pump , thats 20 G.P.M ,.. I believe your going to need about 40-50 GPM to run a 10 in. Sluice , this info is a bit better then a SWAG , maybe ? I believe Keene makes a 6 in. Box , maybe a better choice , bend up a piece of tin and see what your pump will fill . I’ve done a recirculating sluice with a 10 in. Box , had a 100gal livestock tank with a 4 HP trash pump [100 GPM ?? ] had plenty of water . Never really panned out .. Sorry no pic’s
Here’s a poop-tube sluice running on a 500 or a 750 GPH pump , good for 5gal runs , holds the gold good , good way to go, when vacuuming bed-rock.
If one pump was good , I figured 3 pumps [1500GPH] was better , I suppose it is , but I found I had to find places where it was best used , ...if that makes any sense
