Dug up from moist, very compact dirt in Hillsborough County Florida. One of the few that I've found with hinge fractures like this. All the ones I have like this have come from the same type soil. 2 3/8 by 1 1/2 maybe Kirk, the ancient base damage make it hard for me too tell.

Yes very nice material!

That wrap around on that inclusion sure made a knot on the other edges face. A glow in the dark lithic is always my favorite.

Definitely agree

I’ve never seen one with that many that were still hangin on, I’ve got one that’s close but no cigar...Had a fella from Ohio told me it was fake, cuzz cold weather froze the water underneath the flakes and popped em off on genuine points, I said a lot of our points come out of the ground jus like they went in, don’t think he believed me, anyway that’s a jewel Mike.

One reason is because he doesn't realize that it rarely freezes past an inch or two deep here in the south if that much! The further south you go, lesser is the depth of the freeze. He's always stayed up north!

That happens on raw flint. If they had cooked it there wouldn't be any. Gary
