Florida dig find (Hillsborough County)many, many years ago. I've never been able to put a type on this one. It's slightly crude, better worked on one side and the base doesn't appear to be ground. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Idk if it’s correct but projectile points are saying Florida has Copena types located there now. I always thought they were just my area and north. And I’m not saying that’s what you have

Looks like they tried to remove the stack but couldn’t get it off. Probably would have been fluted.
I have a few I’ve found that nobody knows what they are for sure. And if they don’t know their response is usually oh that’s some kind of Copena. I’d rather hear them say I’m not sure.

Looks like a unifaced paleo blade.. they are only worked one side hence the uniface name, usually a little thinner, but still nice.

I grew up in Hillsborough County, went to Hillsborough High school.

So much great stuff has come from Hillsborough County. Son Anderson has an incredible collection of artifacts from there and surrounding counties.

I might be wrong but didn’t Son Anderson pass away recently? I met him on FB. Seemed like a great guy
