The church down the street is being sold and they told me it was ok to detect. I am using my new 12" coil and hit the church for the third time. Not much there then I pulled up two tokens.

Don't know the history of these yet. Updated Below

I also stopped by an old cemetery way off the road by Tipp city Oh and I found this really old Revolutionary War headstone. Didn't detect there out of respect. Never expected to see Revolutionary War stuff in Ohio.

Tokens are always a treat to find, WTG, keep us posted when you dig up some info.

congrats Terry.... you are doing great with the tokens lately..... you are killing my meager finds.... I have decided to go for a higher clad count at this point.... I am running out of old places to hunt..... so I'm hittin the school where I found the class ring n key and the silver half..... diggin 15-35 coins each hunt.....now I just gotta hunt more times a week LOL

Congrats Terry, you've been digging all the tokens here lately and I'm the one that is detecting to add to his token collection. :tard: The Springfield token is SP6190 and is rated R3 on a scale of 1-99, 1 being most common. The Gaylord Clothes chain had an outlet in Dayton as well which is a R2, I think I have that one. The other token is cool too, congrats.

SKD: Nice relics! Love that old headstone.

We visited the Indianapolis Children's Museum years ago. Can't remember if we rode the carousel or not. :)

Thanks for the token info DD/Steve. You must have a book. Maybe I will ask for one for xmas. Which one is best?
Hope to see you at the gold show Sat and Dayton Fairgrounds.

Good Hunting
Terry

Great tokens. I like to tour old graveyards and read the headstones. Some of them are quite old, older than you would expect even here in Oklahoma. I have seen several that go back to before the Civil War. My great, great grandfather and grandmother are buried in a small cemetary not far away and they were children of the early 1800s. And I find many civil war veterans who gave their lives for either the north or south. Sometimes they are buried right along side each other with the same last names but one for the union and one confederate. Monty
