Cool!

I've seen these "Mother Load" disks in a couple other postings on here. I don't have any proof, but I suspect they are caps or tops from some kind of fireworks tube - hence the spelling LOAD...

Keep digging.

Congratulations on a good clad count and the earring. That is the 2nd one of the mother loads I have seen here. Kinda nutty find for a detector eh? I would have to say that if I ever found one I would probably have to put it on display somewhere.

Nice find. I once found a wooden Nickel and don't know the history of them. No, I didn't do it with a detector.
