I got out Friday and again this morning to hit the old trail through here. It rained but the signals were coming and I stayed out till I was soaking wet. Glad I did! I've been working this trail for some time and find neat relics every time out. Not so many coins so any that show are welcome finds. Up until now the only older coins have been wheaties. That's ok, I'll take em. Today I got a deep hit 77 signal. AT Pro was off the chart on depth...full pixels! My digger has a 10 inch blade and I sunk that to the hilt and lifted the plug. Still in the hole and I eased the next 2 inches out. Popped what I thought was a gonna be an Indian. Crusty....

The small group with the monkey wrench was from Friday. The rest from this morning.
The usual firearm related stuff. Two pieces of harmonica reed. Another pocket knife. And what looks like an old snuff box cover or similar.
The finds from this am are another pocket knife(5 from this trail so far). I found what I think is a single jaw to a lady's purse. Unfortunately no other pieces or contents and a long ways from the IHP. Along with some trash I found some more pieces to that wood stove that evidently somebody blew up with a stick of dynamite...think I got enough pieces to build one anyway.
After a little hydrolysis, turns out to be my oldest IHP. 1879
