Hitting on older farm. Colonial Shoe Buckle (?)

Got permission to hunt an older farm this week. Found several silvers (all twentieth century), a couple of early 1800 large cents, and a couple of crotal bells. However, my favorite find was today; a colonial shoe buckle (I believe).

Really nice shoe buckle, going by the raised pin terminals, second half of 18th century I'd guess. Awesome intricate design, love the raised shield decals on the sides.

That shoe buckle is definitely a colonial masterpiece! Congrats on it. I would be very happy to recover that!
