I think alot of them have been found by Treasurent members....More commonly known as Love tokens are the silver and gold carved ...Some are elaborately engraved...others are buffalo nickles carved with high relief during the 20's and 30's .

Do a search on Ebay for Love Token . I buy coins on Ebay and I've run across a lot by accident

I've seen a lot of them on ebay when looking at buffalo nickels. The indian head gets carved into things like clowns & hobos and such. They are pretty cool.

I have never found one detecting, But I have purchased them at coin shows and flea markets. Good luck!

I found one in my change 3? years ago. didn't know what it was 'til now.... and yes, it was a buffalo if I ever find where I put it so I wouldn't lose it, I'll post it. it looked like someone put a drill instructors hat on him....
