It's been a long time since I posted on this board. I haven't been hunting for quite some time now. I had to post this though... I was at a friends house and on his front porch was a rusty can. I noticed a bunch of dusty dirty arrowheads on it, so I walked over to it. It was a full gallon can!!! I dumped them out carefully and found loads of archaic gems! Now I'm from the deep south, and these types mostly aren't found here, but I do recognize the adenas, lost lakes, a kirk or two, thebes, a turkey tail and some other stuff. If I'm thinking right, I want to say these look like something from Illinois or thereabouts. Would you agree? My friend was cleaning out a barn for someone and hauling off the scrap metal and this was found among cans of nuts and bolts and other stuff that was being thrown away. It almost went in the trash! Talk about a lucky guy. I may get to sell these on consignment.
