Home made knee pad pants

Sorry I don't have a picture but I designed a pair of old jeans with large pockets sewn on the exterior at and below knee level. After reading how some folks get circulation problems from knee pad straps I thought just get rid of the strap. Sister in law is a great seamstress and did the sewing. At first I cut up an old hunters seat for padding but it was too thick and rode up as I knelt. Then I tried a couple of computer mouse pads and they work perfectly as they are still good padding but are much more flexible. Hope this helps some of my fellow sore knee detectorists!

Sounds like a great idea, but I still use my 'strap on' knee pads...I don't have to wash my jeans after use.
