Yesterday I was on my forth or fifth visit to a baseball diamond. Actually initially it was going to be one trip as the weeds were so high. All I was able to get was along the base lines and part of the infield. Then came the mower. I moved on to another diamond while he mowed. The next day I was able to easily start detecting the outfields. The first several trips produced lots of clad, a toy car, part of a padlock, a huge chain with a complete padlock, and lots of pull tabs and can slaw.
Yesterday started slow. The first row and a half produced zero signals.
Then came the pull tabs and can slaw and unidentified metal objects.
Found a penny.
Then I got another signal and started cutting out a plug. The weed roots were really tough and I had to dig a deeper plug than I planned. The find was in the plug. I started knocking dirt off the plug. Caught the edge of a piece of metal. Oh, Great, another piece of can slaw...um, hold on, wait a minute...

One very thick, very heavy silver ring.

The center design rotates around the main body of the ring. This was not a cheap ring.
Here's the totals for the day...one toy car minus wheels and most of the bottom plate, 17 clad including a '45 wheat and a Canadian Cent, and that beautiful silver ring.
