Any help would be appreciated Ty

I my opinion...it is not an artifact.

What do you think it is?Natural?

I dont see any use wear in the dent only natural cortex. If it was used there would be some type of swirls in the center. It looks natural unless you see something different than me. Never know till you ask, rock

I dont know enough about native artifacts to disagree.but that rock was dwindled down somehow.I found some "rocks" in creeks and rivers that have probably been there for hundreds of thousands maybe millions of years with water wear, but nothing like that.I am not trying to be a smart ass or nothing, but i would like to see a example of what you are saying.I always like to learn .

That is a pretty cool site rock, gonna have to check it out for a minute. Thanks for the information guys ,even though it wasn't what i wanted to hear.Life seems to be full of dissapointments.Good hunting to ya'll

Most mano or grinding stones will be worn down real smooth in the bowl area, JMO what you have is a natural stone, it could have gotten that shape from a lot of different things, a gas bubble while forming, a freeze crack from a natural crack, or a natural lick from rolling down a creek, mother nature can do a lot of things that you will bet the bank that man had to do it, mother nature is a natural jokester. You are looking for the right shape keep it up and you will find them:occasion14:HH

Thanks for the information guys.Hopefully in the future i will have something good to show .I just dont know enough about the stuff.I never seen a rock bored out like that before , thought i had something..Happy hunting fellas!
