🔎 UNIDENTIFIED hoping to see if these small buttons are military issue

We were on a Delaware farm permission where English and Hessian troops camped in 1777 and where revolutionary soldiers walked through.
Have found many buttons but none verified as military issue. any help would be appreciated

Not military issued to my eye. They appear to be late 18th - early 19th C. The small size tells me they are likely waist-coat or vest buttons. But a lot of people call them "cuff buttons".
