Hornstone Blade Authentication

Finally decided to get Jim Bennett's opinion on this 3.75 inch piece that I acquired in an old collection. It has beeen discussed here previously, with the discussion mostly about the definition of 'uniface.' Anyway, here is Jim's professional opinion; so interesting!
"Unifaced Blade – Authentic. However, this is actually flaked from both sides off of a large spall flake. Interesting note, the ancient damage to the tip is fire damage."

Do you know where this blade was found? There are sources of hornstone in Canada. One of them is on the shores of Great Slave Lake. There is another source somewhere in Ontario as we find a type of hornstone in the glacial till in central IL. This is an example.

No doubt in my mind by picture it is a very nice uniface blade.
