Same here in northeastern Oregon. Hot temperatures and wildfires all around us.

Yeah saw that on the news. We're good so far here at the Summit.

The summers where I live are brutal, we've had wildfires pretty much every summer I've lived here. Actually we had a very recent one that completely destroyed a local town. I like spring and fall, winter can be coped with but summers here are pretty bad

So far fires it seems have be minimal this year, but I things might take a turn starting now. This one as I'm writing has filled the sky to the north even more. I was talking to a fella in SLC around noon today and he happened to mention it's cooling down over there, so maybe some relief from the heat is on the way.

There's another fire started south of this one around Lyons Colorado. I went to my daughters in Ft Collins this afternoon and took this picture of the smoke of the big fire off I25 as the sun was setting behind the smoky sky.

We had some hot weather, but the last few days it has cooled off and become very humid. It's near 10pm, and as I write this it's 64F and 87% humidity. Supposed to be back to the mid-80's by Thurs.

That's quite the image...enhanced the colors a little bit (but did not add color that wasn't already there) and took off the bug spots..

That spot was most likely from spitting chew out the window. I don't crack open the door at a red-light and spit like a cowboy.
