Hot Rock & GB2

I was out prospecting yesterday with my GB2 and found a 10lb+ rock that signaled. I flipped the iron reject switch and still get a great clear signal. I was able to break the rock and see visible pyrite. However I still get a solid signal with iron reject. Should break this rock down?
