Was back on some old land this afternoon. Had a solid 27 signal on my equinox. Initial thoughts perhaps a coin. Equinox suggested 6 inches deep. As we all know, countless times almost anything can sound great in the ground. So I popped the plug and sure enough there was a large copper. You will notice in the photo the coin looked like it was going to be slick. Instead it was a one wiper. To make a long story short it ended up being an incredibly detailed 1802 United States Draped Bust Large cent. Best looking one I found to date. Also found what appears to be a suspender clip. Both finds certainly made my day!
Enjoy!
Enjoy!
