Since March got busy "going out like a lion", I decided it was time to clean out the attic some more.
I came across another one of the boxes I saved from an old, collapsed building, (with the owner's permission).
The other boxes I went through had some wonderful little surprises in them so I was being careful with this one as well.
I found this medal tucked in between the pages of an old folder. (Still need to read the papers in there.
)
This is a most delightful find for me and thought I'd share. I already researched it and know what it is, so I'm not looking for an ID. Just wanted to share a nice piece of history.
