2- How can i guess target depth?
All targets have a cone around them that can be found with the rods. It comes to the surface at a 45 degree angle. When you walk away from the target the rods will open. Walk slowly and they will start to close. This is where you have to bury a target 2 feet deep so you know how much to let your rods close. When I have moved 2 feet my rods have close so the tips are 2 inch’s apart. It is just a matter of practicing.

3- How can i guess target size?
The only thing that I have found is to move every direction from the target and mark where the rods start to open

Art is correct. When in the field, sometimes it is confusing. When we get a cross, we move over 5 ft and walk a circle around that cross and see where the line is headed. If you do this every 20 ft or so, you can tell if you are on a ring or a line. If it starts to curve, You can get an idea of the location once you mark out enough of the circle. This circle will have N/S, E/W lines coming from the target. These are what you are looking for. As you follow them in you will keep getting crosses, move over and walk a circle. As the circle gets smaller, you get closer. When things go nuts you are likely there, or slightly past it. Look for that small circle Art described. That's the money shot. Good luck

Hi to all friends,

i can detect target's sides by my L-Rod that i introduce it in previous post,
i have some questions:

1- How can i exactly pinpointing target?
2- How can i guess target depth?
3- How can i guess target size?

From everything I've experienced, while observing L-rod users - it appears you have answered your own questions.

They merely "guess". The same as when they are pinpointing a target; they "guess". :hello:

....your welcome.
