I need to send my SE Pro in, it has been acting squrily for the last 2 months. I use the exact same settings as all of the people I hunt with but I will get different readings and tones than them on the same target... Also my depth meter is off by 4 inches, and I have to keep the sen down around 14 or 15 as it goes crazy but my buds can run at sen 18 or more with no problem in the exact same area... I have the original box. Do I just disassemble it, re-box it and send it to Nevada? Do I call first? Oh yea I got it in July and within the first month the lower rod broke (the coil mount's glue came off and the coil would freely spin).

I have found a lot of great coins with this machine but it has really taken a nose dive in the last 2 months. Any info on how to send in my machine to get it checkedout would be awesome.

Follow Jim's advice to send it in. You should describe the trouble your having with it as well as you can. They'll check it out for running to specs. Package it well and insure it since at Christmas things can get lost.

After you send it in be prepared for a long wait. My SE (with an audio problem) arrived at the Vegas Minelab USA facility on 12 Nov. I sent it UPS on 5 Nov. Yesterday I called them to see if I could get some status and I was told it hadn't been looked at yet but would probably be in a week or 10 days. So I 'm sure I wont see it again until next year. They must be way backed up or have cut staff.

I shipped my Xterra-50 for repairs on Dec. 9th and received it back on Dec 18th. I have always received great service from Minelab.

Today I got an email from Minelab telling me my SE is on its way home! Scheduled to arrive 30 Dec!
