when it has sands moving across it for around 200 yrs on the ocean floor
when I went to pull it from my scoop - I could tell it was not a quarter - first thought
was maybe some sort of token but as I pick it up I thought it could be a Lc or a colonial
cause Ive pulled flat buttons from the 1800s and musketballs from here
it had a black residue on it that wiped right off - this is not cleaned
it moving in the sand wore it down and kept it clean
