How does the Sea Hunter MK2 handle black sand?

Often the harder compact layer at my beaches will be black sand, sometimes around 8" thick. Since it's a non ground balancing pi, I wonder how it handles black sand.

I have no problems with it. In areas with thick black sand layers, it can chatter. It is easily ignorable as actual targets will ring loud and clear over the chatter or you can increase the Threshold to eliminate the chatter.

I've used mine several times in volcanic black sand. It doesn't seem to give me a problem.
