I work at grocery store and I have to admit I found more silver scanning the tills then I have found in the ground. A lot more!
Nothing that old sad to say but many Mercs. Most of it's from 1964. I also see a lot of wheatbacks dating in the 50's but usually leave those. I assume there's still tens of thousands out there in circulation still.

Dat's da bomb!

Hi Guys.

My friend was a Bus driver in Bristol (UK) untill recently. One of his chores at the end of his shift was to sort the change which had been rejected in the hopper next to the driver.
One day he was looking through it and saw a Victorian Gold Sovereign.....This is about the same size as a modern decimal clad penny.
He showed me last time I was over his place. Its in Vg condition for a 1878 coin.

Go figure that one!

I love having access to a cash register just for that reason. Being a bank teller was the best job....I had quite a collection, but had to sell it. I recently found a Buffalo Nickle. My first! Glad she found it and saved it from some vending machine! :tard:

Moon

2009 puts it at $45 in EF40 and PCGS shows $50 in same grade. You might want to see if it'll grade AU, that bumps it to roughly $170.
