How many rings found in a year(On land, and not a beach)

I ask this because I really believe you have to know your detector and you have to be good at it to even come close to the number found on the beach or in the swimming areas. My best year I found about 16 silver and gold, 29 if you include junkers. These were found with my old Eagle Spectrum, which I still use. As you can see, not that good when it comes to rings. But then again, with the ID I am guilty of not digging every signal, like I would if I were on the beach.

I am new to prospecting and just purchased my first metal detector. It is only a $200 Cabela's Treasure Hunter and I have only found 3 rings this year so far. I am excited going into the next year about what I could possibly find. I love the idea of looking in ball fields. It isn't a location I would have thought about. That is the beauty of forums like this and posts such as this one. It really helps newbies like myself to save a ton of time in the learning curve. Especially considering the fact that I don't live any where near a beach so I have to find locations that aren't sandy or beaches by any means. There are some man made beaches that are part of government reservation areas that people visit for the man made lakes and beaches. Might consider looking there as well as other locations. I found my three rings near play grounds and parks like that.
