Years ago Garrett made a nice little VLF water detector called the AT4..... Heck, it might have been a AT3, I forget. Anyway we water hunters are limited in the amount of non Pulse water detectors that are available. Garrett is the only major manufacturer that doesn't have a detector for us water hunters that is a VLF.
Fisher 1280-X & CZ-20/21 Nice solid detectors, great on batteries.
Minelab Excal 800/1000 Excellent. My main gold getter.
Tesoro Tiger Shark Excellent in fresh water, can respond to gold chains.
Whites Beach Hunter 300 Nice but coil has high buoyancy. (floats) Don't know why they can't have a real
near neutral buoyancy like the other manufactures. They either float or sink like a rock.
