Years ago Garrett made a nice little VLF water detector called the AT4..... Heck, it might have been a AT3, I forget. Anyway we water hunters are limited in the amount of non Pulse water detectors that are available. Garrett is the only major manufacturer that doesn't have a detector for us water hunters that is a VLF.

Fisher 1280-X & CZ-20/21 Nice solid detectors, great on batteries.
Minelab Excal 800/1000 Excellent. My main gold getter.
Tesoro Tiger Shark Excellent in fresh water, can respond to gold chains.
Whites Beach Hunter 300 Nice but coil has high buoyancy. (floats) Don't know why they can't have a real
near neutral buoyancy like the other manufactures. They either float or sink like a rock.

Count me in Sandman on this one. :headbang:

I would like to see a VLF Machine in the same housing as the seahunter 2 were you can swap out the coil like the tigershark.
Sandman they made both the AT3 AND AT 4 IF i RECALL 4 HAD NOTCH P;US WAS YELLOW.

Someone has an AT4 for sale locally on CL. They want $400 for it. I saw an AT3 a few months ago for $200.

Yes i would like to see Garrett do that also..............

Garrett needs to do something from becoming stagnant, this would be just the thing. A great idea.

......Count me in.......An updated version of the AT4 would be nice!!.......Joe
