I like these shows I think a lot are very informative. Some times Josh Gates gets a bit carried away but he has to generate interest to viewers. He does go to a lot of places I dream of going to see . I find it very interesting ,. What are your opinions?

I liked the show till I started noticing the staged drama....

I love that show and he actually gets paid to do it I would do it for free !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the show, but get annoyed with the changing of font when closed captioning is used. :laughing7:

I think he's entertaining and the locations are great.

You know whenever you hear "look at that!" a commercial will follow in seconds.

Best thing is the total lack of a narrator. ;-)

good show every thing is balance entertaining & locations makes diffrerence

One of my favorites. Josh is a humorous guy and very likable. One of the shows I really liked was the one about “The Secret”.

I watched for a while until I realized they were never actually going to find anything. They only got to sites that have been heavily looked at before and will never find anything, like Oak Island or now Yamashitas treasure. Josh doesn't seem to even know which detector to use for which situation.

i love this show, cant wait for the next one,
brad

It does drive me a little crazy when I see him swinging the coil in an arch at about 10" off the ground! :laughing7:

Yeah, started to watch it but the 'investigations' and 'searches' became more and more cursory.

Eg: a filmed trip to a cave everyone knew about then getting excited about finding anything at all there; "Wow, look at this er, rectangular shaped space cut through the wall like a door"

or being filmed running a metal detector over a 'WTF, why would you even do that?' type of location.

I watched this since it was destination truth.
Interesting with a good laugh thrown in.
Sure beats watching the bachelor with my wife.

I like it very much

Its one show i find more enjoyable to watch.

I enjoy the show visiting many different places i never knew about

Gosh Gates is the show, without him it would die, It’s not well scripted factually. Rommel’s gold series was nonsense, researchers do minimum research and produce the run of the mill story. Watchable but Micky mouse show as far as documentaries go yet there are a lot more out there, coopers’ treasure is another one. Drain the ocean wins every time for me.

I like it a fair amount. I wish he found proof of things!

I watched a couple of episodes when it first appeared on TV but quickly lost interest....seems very staged and faked.
