Yes, they,re living the goodlife now!...strangely enough they were 'both' found abandoned...the dog (Cooper)..as a puppy In a Box,in the winter,on a dark street in -40 with 5 others...The cat (Snowball) in the bush along some cliffs.
Maybe that's why they get along so well...and really are "Best Buddies"
