How much sterling did I get for $4?

Juts to liven up the board and get some active finds posted, I thought I would let everybody guess how much sterling is in this bag of little girl's jewelry that I bought today for $4. There was a sterling pendant about the size of a quarter or so that I could see from the outside, so I bought it. I have not opened it yet, but after a day or so or maybe tonight I will post how much sterling was actually in it (in grams). Right now, your guess is as good as mine!

18.6 grams of sterling plus 3.2 grams of gold. Good luck

I ended up with the following:

20.9 grams of .925 Sterling (the pendant with chain and a set of hoop earrings)
0.6 grams of 14k gold (the thinnest necklace I've ever seen. It doesn't even weigh on my scale until the clasp hits it.)

So a good score at that sale.

The rest of the day left a lot to be desired.

Same as costume jewelry, might as well take the risk and buy! In your case no risk you already saw the silver pendant
