🔎 UNIDENTIFIED How old is this? I think it’s an antique pry bar? (eBay pic at end is an example of something similar)

Cats paw nail puller.
This is a double ended cats paw nail puller.
Don't think it's very old.
Clean it up and use it. The straight end looks like it may be marked - China-
I have a couple almost exactly like it in my tool box.
The curved shape of the puller is to make it easier to pound into the wood when trying to remove nails that are embedded below the surface of the wood. Also destroys less of the board than a standard crow bar.

Yep...got one just like it in my bag of bedrock tools.

I agree. A crowbar, not extremely old.
I think using the term "antique" is subjective. I have three crowbars at least 40 years old. I know this since I have had them at least that long. Yet visually they may appear anywhere from 3 to 75 years old.
Does the term antique have a number attached to it? not sure.

My friend owns an antique shop and I just asked him that question last week. For him, antique is 100+. Vintage is at least 50.
