Looks like the airline is suing the station...LOL. The station damaged their reputation by announcing the phony names. Of course, coming in for a landing at too slow a speed, and too low an altititude doesn't damage your rep....haha.

as an inside joke,
and the intern was just to thick to get that it was all in fun.

as for the suit ? can a foreign entity sue a US news station ?

I see they refused to Sue the actual Culprit (the NTSB)
most likely because too many lawyers and unlimited cash at the ntsb

It took me a bit to finally find the names used but I can't say they weren't funny. Ppl today have paper thin skin, so quick to cry over little things and too quick to point a finger at someone else just to get the heat off themselves. captain sum ting Wong is racist but most ppl do poke fun at others, why do we pretend we don't do it?
