Hello
I am newbie in metal detectors but, i am electronic engineer so i can understand the principal of metal detecting process easily .
I have professional daily base experience in Electronics so no problem to assemble and change characters of coils or part on the PCB

1) i want to detect most metal coins copper silver brass gold
2) The depth of detection shall be about 10" (20-50 c"m ?)

I found out a grate detector "barracuda legend PI " kit it have many good recommendations, i could not find it in Ebay so i guess that the company is probably closes.

Can you recomend me a good Kit of metal detector ? may be Hammerhead PI metal detector?

Thanks
Nevat

where will you be hunting? land, salt water, fresh water, gold fields? where you hunt is important as what you are hunting

Don't know of any kits in today's world. I remember Heathkit had one back in the 1970's. I think it would be fun to put one of those together and modify it.

Welcome to the forum from Port Allegheny, Pennsylvania.
I would suggest that you purchase a Minelab Equinox 800 and stop messing around.

Hello,

Welcome to the forum! :icon_thumleft:

Building a "bench" detector can be a lot of fun, I've done it! :icon_thumleft: For real life detecting, I would highly advise purchasing a detector from a known company; ready to go. You will enjoy the hobby more and find goodies the first day.

Regards,

Doc

Welcome Aboard Nevat! You didn't list your state (or country) in your profile. So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country).

Whatever you finally decide on - please consider buying one from one of

I wouldn't advise building your own detector = you might never finish, and sometimes they don't work!

So, get the Equinox 800 and you're set for some years to come.

Also sent a FR hope you accept I like to share my finds and experiance. Tommy
