How to determine

For the depth gauge on the right side of my Lcd screen for my bounty hunter land ranger pro , which is just below ground and which is deep .? I'm assuming the smallest on the bottom is deepest ?

One bar is surface, two bars is shallow, all 5 bars is deep.

Around 2 inches per bar I think, same as my Delta 4000. But depth indicator is always approximative, can be right on and sometimes a bit off.
