hi all, Went to a place called Harvey Road Eaglehawk On Sunday.Gold was discovered in 1854 and the town of Eaglehawk grew quicky.Even today in the main street more than 75% of the gold rush building still stand .Round 1880 the towns population dropped from 13,000 to 4000.
Harvey Road was a back street once and is a regrowth plantation today.

I had a killer dig today and found some interesting relic

Eaglehawk twin headed comm of Queen victoria 1887 Its bigger than a cartwheel penny. Huge Kirk and rare.

Sandhurst chemist bottle british made for J Holdsworth of sandhurst [bendigo] and Eagle hawk circa 1900

late Victoria Silver hair clip (4 inches long]

American bottle "Mrs Winslows soothing syrup"
Anglo-American Drugs Company 1910 circa

Lid of a Silver pocket watch 1880's

Great depression belt buckle made from a penny 1919

tini terra-cotta figure (owl) age unknown

English penny 1889 and aussie penny 1920.

first white settlement 1788 but native culture near on 60,000 years.Is that old or ancient.First known ship to land was Dutch east India company North West Australia 1549 . This history is easy too google so what your point
