Found these at a antqiue store for a combined total of $70... Don't know they weight of anything, my scale maxes at 50 grams because it measures to the thousandths... need a new one. The mirror has English hallmarks on it and weighs quite a bit... and its really big, don't know how much silver is on it. And then I got a serving spoon and meat fork? for 20 each... There's more than $20 of silver on them I hope lol they are very cool though. Found some other great Gorham sterling at an estate sale a few hours before this, wasn't able to grab all the silver there, so this makes up for that! LOTS of silver!

Did some research the mirror is H Matthews from Birmingham England! anyone know what the G means??. And the serving tools are Marthinsen from Norway, Valdres pattern, sell for $240 for the pair on replacements so I'd guess a little over $100 on eBay right? Not a huge score but still silver under melt can't go wrong!

That mirror is awesome. Great finds! [emoji106]

Great find!! It is from Birmingham England. The g is the date mark for 1906. Well done!

The mark on the 830S utensils is how the Scandinavians do it. Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway ? Shouldn't be to hard to I.D. those marks I would think? Worth more then scrap, as there are many folks who collect Scandinavian silver. The Germans used that grade of silver also, but very often have a crown mark added.
