HUGE OLD STERLING!

Hey guys n gals, Hope you have been getting out. I've made some pretty good finds myself lately but get a little busy to take pics and make a thread sometimes. Well I'm pumped about this so I'm going to share it with you. Out today with the wife and a new detecting friend I get this great signal and out comes a beautiful decorative piece. Dirty at the time and believed to be copper it goes in the pouch till later cleaning at home. When I started to brush this off with some soap and water I saw some silver color. Then found the "STERLING" mark on it! What an adrenaline shot. I believe this was probably the back cover of a ladies hair brush or handheld mirror. HH!
