Huge Point?

Would you consider this a very large point or a preform. I found this a couple of weeks ago.It has been worked and also is slightly fluted on one side. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a big preform / axe / tool / thang. The "fluting" on one side will just be thinning strike. Every point will have them at some stage or other in the reduction process.

Definitely not a point of any type, maybe a preform and maybe a general purpose tool used for butchering and such.

I'd agree with cannonman, it looks like a preform. What I was wondering was if the left side was jagged? I have pieces from around here that they call bump knives that when looked at on edge the serration goes back and forth all the way down the piece (kind of like a saw blade). Thanks

Yes it is milky quartz. We have quite a lot of this in our area.
