Huge Score on Free Give-A-Way

Tennant left a mountain of stuff and new homeowner just gave it all away free on Craigslist. I was the first guy there and had my pick.

I got a 3500Watt Generator, like over $1,000 worth of tools, two huge tackle boxes full of fishing lures, gun cases, musical instruments, a wench, welding equipment, cutting torches, and a ton of other stuff.

This would not be the first time. About a decade ago I went to a similar free giveaway but when I showed up it was a mansion like 8,000 SF... I was the second person there. It was super creepy because the family that lived there was very rich and they left everything, including gold jewelry, clothes, pictures, everything. Either the entire 4 person family died or went into witness protection or something.

Sounds like the house I'm living in right now. We bought the house as is with the guy still living in it. When we showed up with our 40 foot moving van filled, we had to get the sheriff to get him out of the house. He left everything! Clothes, food, furniture, TV's, shelves stocked with sundries, beds, dressers, linen, even the dirty dishes. It took wifey and me three days to move him out and then three more to move us in. Wifey was P'd off plumb!
