That's closer to a medium Tombac Button. Although some get to the size of a Dandy, no-one calls them that.
Loads at home, but I'm cleaning up & recording coins at Cru'Dad's house, so I will post mine later.
The ID is simple its a medium-to-large Tombac Button from about 1760-1830. No-one can tell if they were Hessain or not because they look identical & most were civilian, so odds are its civilian. I find tons of them & there were no German troop movements in my area. The largest I have is 34mm, but they probably go a little bigger.I believe it is a Hessain button. I have found many on this site but smaller. This one is huge? Maybe it is something else? I’m asking for ID?

Although it sounds like you have already decided in your mind what it is, Crusader's statement , " The ID is simple its a medium-to-large Tombac Button from about 1760-1830. No-one can tell if they were Hessain or not because they look identical & most were civilian, so odds are its civilian" is spot on.
