It has been an off year here for hummingbirds. Not sure why. Maybe too many feeders so they have lots of restaraunts to choose from. Usually 6 or 7 at a time. Mainly a bunch of singles this year.Seems they go from flower to flower and quickly they leave.
Getting a few pictures can be difficult at times
Thanks again for looking
What kind do you get there? We get the ruby throated here. I love watching them. We usually get a lot when they head back south but usually only a few in the summer.Seems they go from flower to flower and quickly they leave.

For the longest time this year they were constantly going to the walkers low catmint and since those flowers are fading we see them more often on the porch flowersIt has been an off year here for hummingbirds. We enjoy them …They arrived late it seems this yearTakes a fast shutter to catch a hummingbird...
We feed hummingbirds here year around, as one species chooses
to winter here. Makes it tough in the winter to keep the feeder from
freezing up.
